Objects from my household serve as proxies for world shaking global events in order to make sense of it all.
»Mnemonic machines« assigns complex world events to familiar household objects in order to appropriate and materialize them.
By coding complex processes into a single object and assembling these events/objects into a composite shape, the artist creates memory devices in an attempt to reflect on and process recent world events.
